I felt like I was familiar with the taste of BBQ chicken This is the kind of chicken that I used to make at home for ediappa kottu, roti kottu, kos kottu... These days, there is hardly a house in Sri Lanka that is not sick... I don't like to cook and eat normally 🥹..I just watch YouTube to make up my mind and fill my stomach for the days when I can't eat. Meanwhile, I made this after watching a village mother's recipe for a different way to make chicken... I fried four dried chili peppers, a tablespoon of coriander, two teaspoons of ginger, half a teaspoon of fennel, cardamom, cardamom pods, cinnamon, mustard seeds, and ginger in a pan and chopped them up. I washed the meat, rubbed salt, turmeric powder, and a few pieces of goraka and kept it aside to season. Now, I put the meat in a pan and added some oil and fried the onion, green chilies, curry leaves, ramekin, and salt. When it was well browned, I added the ginger-garlic paste and when it was well browned, I added one and a half teaspoons of chili powder and three or four teaspoons of turmeric powder. When it was tender, I put the meat in the pan, closed the lid, and cooked it on low heat for an hour with the meat in the water... Then Open the lid, stir, add the chopped coriander powder, add some tomatoes, and add some grated coconut and cook... The barbecue flavor must have come from the chopped coriander... Try it... I don't need coconut milk... I just added it to control the chili flavor.. I am your beloved Thanu Thennakoon ✍🏻🌸 Thank you to the mother who owns that YouTube channel..
