Popular sambal egg! Spicy and delicious with rice, simple and delicious! Ingredients: • Eggs (cooked) • 1 handful of dried chilies • 3 onions • 5 cloves of garlic • Salt to taste • Sugar to taste (white sugar or coconut sugar) • ½ tablespoon of fermented shrimp paste (optional) • Tamarind juice or slices to taste • Seasoning powder to taste Method: 1. Fried eggs: Peel the shells of the cooked eggs, heat the oil pan, fry over medium-low heat until the surface is golden, remove and set aside. 2. Make chili sauce: Mix dried chilies, garlic, onions, fermented shrimp paste with a little water and stir into a paste. 3. Stir-fry chili sauce: Heat the pan with oil (you can use the oil for frying eggs), fry the onions until soft, then add the chili sauce and stir-fry until fragrant. Stir-fry over medium-low heat until the sauce becomes dry and the color becomes darker. Cover the pot to avoid oil splashing. 4. Seasoning: Add tamarind juice, sugar, salt and seasoning powder and stir well. 5. Add flavor: Finally pour in the fried eggs, stir evenly to allow the eggs to absorb the flavor of the sauce, and continue to simmer for 2-3 minutes.
